  • Active Family and Community Engagement Promoting interaction among families, teachers, and administration helps families be more involved in the decisions about their children's education; Schools function as neighborhood hubs, making everyone equal partners in promoting success; Leads attendance support and interventions; Coordinates classes, workshops, events, and other learning opportunities for families; Supports family empowerment opportunities; Fosters a welcoming environment and climate for families
  • Collaborative Leadership and Practices Parents, students, teachers, principals, and community partners build a culture of professional learning, collective trust, and share responsibility using strategies such as site-based leadership team; Identifies, develops, and maintains partnerships to support the needs of the school, families, and community; Integrates partnerships and volunteers into the school day; Facilitates a monthly Community School Leadership Team Meeting
